What causes infertility in women?

Age is a vital concern when it comes to a woman’s fertility. When a baby girl arrives in the world, her ovaries contain all the eggs she will ever have.

Over the years, the number of your eggs steadily declines. The quality of your eggs also diminishes as you get older.

Women’s fertility slowly declines between the ages of 30-35 and rapidly drops after they turn 35. After 40, a woman’s ability to conceive significantly decreases every month.Beyond age-related challenges, infertility in women most often occurs due to:

  • Ovulation problems
  • Fallopian tube blockages
  • Endometriosis
  • Uterine fibroids
  • Pelvic adhesions
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome

Health conditions such as diabetes and autoimmune diseases can also cause infertility.

What causes infertility in men?

Male-factor infertility occurs due to problems such as:

  • Low sperm levels
  • Poor sperm motility
  • Abnormally shaped sperm
  • Blocked tubes
  • Varicocele (varicose veins in the scrotum)
  • Retrograde emanation
  • Hormone imbalances
  • Injured testicles

Sperm issues are the most common fertility challenge in men.

Can traditional Chinese medicine help infertility?

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) offers a successful option for people in good general health and whose infertility can’t be explained by the causes listed above.

By improving the health of your reproductive tract, TCM improves your chances of conceiving. TCM helps at all stages, whether you’re still trying to get pregnant, receiving assisted reproductive technology (ART) such as in vitro fertilization (IVF), or after IVF has failed.

However, if you have a tubal blockage or a very low sperm count, Dr. Yanina would not recommend TCM. Instead, your best chance lies in embracing medical care from a specialist in ART.

How does traditional Chinese medicine treat infertility?

TCM and acupuncture focus on your overall health, especially the vital energy that supports the health of your reproductive system. Treatment with TCM nourishes eggs and stimulates their growth. It can also influence the quality and motility of sperm.

Acupuncture improves the thickness and quality of the endometrium lining your uterus and creates an environment primed to support a fertilized egg.

At Yanina Acupuncture Clinic, you can receive a unique and successful protocol. We use acupuncture to enhance your fertility and increase your chances of conception, tailoring an ideal treatment plan specifically for you.

Our treatment produces exceptional results by getting your body into condition and turning a hostile environment into one that supports conception.

Our Unique Method:

  • Increases blood flow to the pelvis, uterus, and ovaries
  • Balances reproductive hormones
  • Collaborates to enhance your OB/GYN’s care
  • Uses natural treatments to heal your body
  • Guaranteed increased number of eggs

Each person receives a unique treatment plan that fits their situation and goals.

We have a high success rate in patients who are good candidates for the TCM. To learn if you’re a good candidate, call Yanina Acupuncture Clinic or schedule an appointment online today.
